One of my favorite annual grassroots events in Carbondale, CO, Bonedale Bike Week began a year or so before I moved to town and is celebrated mid-May for a whole week promoting the bicycle (usually coinciding with National Bike to Work Day). Scavenger hunts, spoke’n word bicycle poetry, kid obstacle course, and more.
