Series | Creature Comforts
Shown primarily at The Aspen Chapel, Aspen, CO
This watercolor series began in 2015 and continued into 2017 as commentary on the local real estate market and sales in and around Aspen, Colorado. Each of the homes depicted here were, at the time, listed for sale and it was easy to view virtual tours or online galleries of images from each room in the house.
“Creature Comforts” examines what kind of environment we actually need to survive as human beings. Animals in nature require very basic needs as far as their surroundings, yet with more wealth and luxury, the more elaborate and lavish the interior environments become.
